Alice In Chains "Nutshell"

Another one of my favorites by AIC, it's loosing talented people like Layne that should make us all look at drug use differently.

We chase misprinted lies
We face the path of time
And yet I fight
And yet I fight
This battle all alone
No one to cry to
No place to call home

Oooh... Oooh...
Oooh... Oooh...

My gift of self is raped
My privacy is raked
And yet I find
And yet I find
Repeating in my head
If I can't be my own
I'd feel better dead

Oooh... Oooh...
Oooh... Oooh...

Alice In Chains "Your Decision"

I was not sure that AIC would be able to go on without Layne Staley when he passed in 2002, but I really like some of the new stuff. This is one that I've been listening to a lot, great video too.

Time to change has come and gone
Watched your fears become your God

It's your decision
It's your decision

Overwhelmed, you chose to run
Apathetic to the stunned

It's your decision
It's your decision

You feed the fire that burned us all
When you lied
To feel the pain that spurs you on
Black inside

No one plans to take the path that brings you lower
And here you stand before us all and say it's over
It's over

It might seem an afterthought
Yes it hurts to know you're bought

It's your decision
It's your decision

You feed the fire that burned us all
When you lied
To feel the pain that spurs you on
Black inside

It's your decision
It's your decision

No one plans to take the path that brings you lower
And here you stand before us all and say it's over
It's over

It's over

Alice In Chains "Nutshell"

I was going to see how long I could go without repeating an artist. I know I could go much longer but I don't want you all to get too bored.
There is just too much good music by bands I've already listed here, so expect more in the future.

So here is another one of my favorites by AIC, this is a live version that I really like.

Alice In Chains - "Man In The Box"

This was another game changer, at least in my eyes. This song took grunge to a whole different level, and AIC would continue to evolve their sound, even after the loss of Layne Staley in 2002, they power on today.

I absolutely love this song.
