Bob Dylan "Hurricane"

This is one of those great classics that I love.

Pistol shots ring out in the barroom night
Enter patty valentine from the upper hall.
She sees the bartender in a pool of blood,
Cries out, my god, they killed them all!
Here comes the story of the hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.

Three bodies lyin there does patty see
And another man named bello, movin around mysteriously.
I didnt do it, he says, and he throws up his hands
I was only robbin the register, I hope you understand.
I saw them leavin, he says, and he stops
One of us had better call up the cops.
And so patty calls the cops
And they arrive on the scene with their red lights flashin
In the hot new jersey night.

Meanwhile, far away in another part of town
Rubin carter and a couple of friends are drivin around.
Number one contender for the middleweight crown
Had no idea what kinda shit was about to go down
When a cop pulled him over to the side of the road
Just like the time before and the time before that.
In paterson thats just the way things go.
If youre black you might as well not show up on the street
less you wanna draw the heat.

Alfred bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops.
Him and arthur dexter bradley were just out prowlin around
He said, I saw two men runnin out, they looked like middleweights
They jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates.
And miss patty valentine just nodded her head.
Cop said, wait a minute, boys, this ones not dead
So they took him to the infirmary
And though this man could hardly see
They told him that he could identify the guilty men.

Four in the mornin and they haul rubin in,
Take him to the hospital and they bring him upstairs.
The wounded man looks up through his one dyin eye
Says, whad you bring him in here for? he aint the guy!
Yes, heres the story of the hurricane,
The man the authorities came to blame
For somethin that he never done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.

Four months later, the ghettos are in flame,
Rubins in south america, fightin for his name
While arthur dexter bradleys still in the robbery game
And the cops are puttin the screws to him, lookin for somebody to blame.
Remember that murder that happened in a bar?
Remember you said you saw the getaway car?
You think youd like to play ball with the law?
Think it might-a been that fighter that you saw runnin that night?
Dont forget that you are white.

Arthur dexter bradley said, Im really not sure.
Cops said, a poor boy like you could use a break
We got you for the motel job and were talkin to your friend bello
Now you dont wanta have to go back to jail, be a nice fellow.
Youll be doin society a favor.
That sonofabitch is brave and gettin braver.
We want to put his ass in stir
We want to pin this triple murder on him
He aint no gentleman jim.

Rubin could take a man out with just one punch
But he never did like to talk about it all that much.
Its my work, hed say, and I do it for pay
And when its over Id just as soon go on my way
Up to some paradise
Where the trout streams flow and the air is nice
And ride a horse along a trail.
But then they took him to the jailhouse
Where they try to turn a man into a mouse.

All of rubins cards were marked in advance
The trial was a pig-circus, he never had a chance.
The judge made rubins witnesses drunkards from the slums
To the white folks who watched he was a revolutionary bum
And to the black folks he was just a crazy nigger.
No one doubted that he pulled the trigger.
And though they could not produce the gun,
The d.a. said he was the one who did the deed
And the all-white jury agreed.

Rubin carter was falsely tried.
The crime was murder one, guess who testified?
Bello and bradley and they both baldly lied
And the newspapers, they all went along for the ride.
How can the life of such a man
Be in the palm of some fools hand?
To see him obviously framed
Couldnt help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land
Where justice is a game.

Now all the criminals in their coats and their ties
Are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise
While rubin sits like buddha in a ten-foot cell
An innocent man in a living hell.
Thats the story of the hurricane,
But it wont be over till they clear his name
And give him back the time hes done.
Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world.

Gorillaz "Clint Eastwood"

This is a cool song, I love the back beat.

I ain't happy but, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
I am happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on

Yeah, ha ha!
Finally someone let me out of my cage
Now, time for me is nothing 'cause I'm counting no age
Now I couldn't be there
Now you shouldn't be scared
I'm good at repairs
And I'm under each snare

Intangible
Bet you didn't think so I command you to
Panoramic view
Look I'll make it all manageable
Pick and choose
Sit and lose
All you different crews

Chicks and dudes
Who you think is really kickin' tunes?
***** are you gettin' down in the picture tube
Like you lit the fuse
You think it's fictional
Mystical? Maybe
Spiritual
Hearable
What appears in you is a clearer view 'cause you're too crazy
Lifeless
To know the definition for what life is
Priceless
For you because I put you on the hype ****
You like it?
Gunsmokin' righteous with one toke
Psychic among those
Possess you with one go

I am happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless,but not for long
The future is coming on
I am happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on

The essence the basics
Without it you make it
Allow me to make this
Childlike in nature
Rhythm
You have it or you don't that's a fallacy
I'm in them
Every sprouting tree
Every child apiece
Every cloud you see
You see with your eyes
I see destruction and demise
Corruption in disguise
From this ****in' enterprise
Now I'm sucking to your lies
Through Russ, though not his muscles but the percussion he provides
With me as a guide
But y'all can see me now 'cause you don't see with your eye
You perceive with your mind
That's the inner
So I'mma stick around with Russ and be a mentor
With a few rhymes so mother ****ers
Remember where the thought is
I brought all this
So you can survive when law is lawless
Feelings, sensations that you thought were dead
No squealing, remember
(That it's all in your head)

I am happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
I am happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long

My future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
My future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
My future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
My future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
My future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
My future is coming on
Is coming on
Is coming on
My future

Sum 41 "Fat Lip"

I always loved the into riff to this one.

Stormin' through the party like my name was El nino
When I'm hangin' out drinkin' in the back of an El Camino
As a kid, was a skid and no one knew me by name
Trashed my own house party 'cuz nobody came

Now, I know I'm not the one you thought you knew back in high School
Never goin' never showin' up when we had to
Attention that we crave don't tell us to behave
I'm sick of always hearin' act your age

[Chorus]
I don't wanna waste my time
Become another casualty of society
I'll never fall in line
Become another victim of your conformity
And back down

Because you don't
Know us at all we laugh when old people fall
But what would you expect with a conscience so small?
Heavy metal and mullets it's how we were raised
Maiden and priest were the gods that we praised

Cause we like havin' fun at other people's expense and
Cuttin' people down is just a minor offense then
It's none of your concern, I guess I'll never learn
I'm sick of bein' told to wait my turn

[Chorus]

Don't count on me, to let you know when
Don't count on me, I'll do it again
Don't count on me, it's the point you're missin'
Don't count on me, cause I'm not listenin'

Well I'm a no goodnick lower middle class brat,
Back packed and I don't give a **** about nothin'
You be standin' on the corner talkin' all that kamuffin,
But you don't make sense from all the gas you be huffin'
'Cause if the egg don't stain you'll be ringin' off the hook
You're on the hit list wanted in the telephone book
I like songs with distortion, to drink in proportion
The doctor said my mom should have had an abortion

[Chorus]

Waste my time with them
Casualty of society
Waste my time again
Victim of your conformity
And back down

Bryan Adams, Tina Turner "It's Only Love"

This is one of those cool duets that I've always liked.

When the feelin' is ended
There ain't no use pretendin'
Don't ya worry, it's only love

When your world has been shattered
Ain't nothin' else matters
It ain't over, It's only love
And that's all, yeah

When your heart has been broken
Hard words have been spoken
It ain't easy, but it's only love

And your life ain't worth livin'
And you're ready to give in
Just remember, that it's only love

You can live without the aggravation
Ya gotta want to win, ya gotta want to win

You keep lookin' back in desperation
Over and over and over again

When your world has been shattered
Ain't nothin' else matters
It ain't over, It's only love

And if your life ain't worth livin'
And you're ready to give in
Just remember, that it's only love
Yea, that's all

Ya it ain't easy baby
But it's only love, and that's all

The Righteous Brothers "You've Lost That Lovin Feelin"

Here's one that's before my time, but is such a great song that will continue to stand the test of time. The only downside for me is it will forever be a part of pop culture, I'll always hear it and think of Top Gun.

You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips.
And there's no tenderness like before in your fingertips.
You're trying hard not to show it, (baby).
But baby, baby I know it...

You've lost that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling,
You've lost that lovin' feeling,
Now it's gone...gone...gone...wooooooh.

Now there's no welcome look in your eyes
when I reach for you.
And now your're starting to critisize little things I do.
It makes me just feel like crying, (baby).
'Cause baby, something in you is dying.

You lost that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling,
You've lost that lovin' feeling,
Now it's gone...gone...gone...woooooah

Baby, baby, I get down on my knees for you.

If you would only love me like you used to do, yeah.

We had a love...a love...a love you don't find everyday.

So don't...don't...don't...don't let it slip away.

Baby (baby), baby (baby),
I beg of you please...please,
I need your love (I need your love),
I need your love (I need your love),
So bring it on back (So bring it on back),
Bring it on back (so bring it on back).

Bring back that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling
Bring back that lovin' feeling,
'Cause it's gone...gone...gone,
and I can't go on,
noooo...

Bring back that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling
Bring back that lovin' feeling,
'Cause it's gone...gone...

Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, The Foo Fighters

I was going to put up a Led Zepplin tune this morning when I came across this one, a cool version with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and the Foo Fighters.

Leaves are falling all around
It's time I was on my way.
Thanks to you I'm much obliged
For such a pleasant stay.
But now it's time for me to go
The autumn moon lights my way.
For now I smell the rain
And with it pain
And it's headed my way.
Ah sometimes I grow so tired
But I know I've got one thing I got to do

*Ramble On
And now's the time the time is now
To sing my song.
I'm goin' 'round the world,
I got to find my girl, on my way.
I've been this way ten years to the day, Ramble On,
Gotta find the queen of all my dreams.

Got no time to for spreadin' roots,
The time has come to be gone.
And tho' our health we drank a thousand times,
It's time to Ramble On.

* Chorus

I ain't tellin' no lie.
Mine's a tale that can't be told,
My freedom I hold dear;
How years ago in days of old
When magic filled the air,
T'was in the darkest depths of Mordor
I met a girl so fair,
But Gollum, and the evil one crept up
And slipped away with her.
Her, her....yea.
Ain't nothing I can do, no.

* Chorus

Gonna ramble on, sing my song
Gotta keep-a-searchin' for my baby...
Gonna work my way, round the world
I can't stop this feelin' in my heart
Gotta keep searchin' for my baby
I can't find my bluebird!
I'd listen to my bluebird sing but I can't find my blue bird
A-keep-a ramblin' baby

Marilyn Manson "Personal Jesus"

I'm putting this one up because it recently reemerged in a video I've seen and posted on IPTC, and it happens to go really, really, good with that one. This is a really cool version of a Depeche Mode classic.

Reach out and touch faith
Your own Personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own Personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who's there

Feeling's unknown and you're all alone
Flesh and bone by the telephone
Lift up the receiver
I'll make you a believer

Take second best
Put me to the test
Things on your chest
You need to confess
I will deliver
You know I'm a forgiver
Reach out and touch faith

Your own Personal Jesus
Feeling's unknown and you're all alone
Flesh and bone by the telephone
Lift up the receiver
I'll make you a believer
I will deliver
You know I'm a forgiver
Reach out and touch faith
Your own Personal Jesus
Reach out and touch faith

Ozzy Osbourne "Fire In The Sky"

This is one of my favorite songs by Ozzy that never went mainstream. I think its just a great song, maybe it's the lyrics that speak to me. What do you think?

The introduction to his heartache began as a child
So it's no wonder that he grew up to be so wild
So he protected his feelings in walls he imagined
But castles crumble, exposing the frightened child

Fire in the sky
Can't you see that all my castles are burning?
Fire in the sky
Won't you help me now, my castles are burning

In solitude he couldn't deal with his own existence
The burning questions in the castles have still remained
God only knows how he searched in vain for the answers
Now castles crumble, exposing his naked flames, yeah

Fire in the sky
Can't you see that all my castles are burning?
Fire in the sky
Won't you help me now, my castles are burning
Fire in the sky
Can't you see that all my castles are burning?
Fire in the sky
Won't you help me now, my castles are burning

Fire in the sky
Can't you see that all my castles are burning?
Fire in the sky
Won't you help me now, my castles are burning
Fire in the sky
Can't you see that all my castles are burning?
Fire in the sky
Won't you help me now, my castles are burnin

Mudvayne "Fall Into Sleep"

One of those songs that never really went mainstream, but I absolutely love off of this album. I never even knew they did a video for this song, its actually pretty cool.

Dreams of earthquakes
Dreams of hurricanes
Dreams of pouring rain
Dreams of tidal waves...to wash us all away
Dreams of guns blazed
Dreams of fire rage
Dreams of swollen graves
Dreams of hollow pain
All gone

No more fallen
No more enemy
No more causality
No more dream

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
I have a dream
But nobody cares
Nobody wants to listen

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
Hang on to a dream that nobody wants
Nobody cares anymore

Dreams of mourning grief
Dreams of disbelief
Dreams of tragedy
Dreams of our disease...to take us all away
Dreams of fidelity
Dreams of inner peace
Dreams of loyalty
Dreams of unity
All gone
All gone

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
I have a dream
But nobody cares
Nobody wants to listen

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
Hang on to a dream that nobody wants
Nobody cares anymore

The angels are injured
Fall with broken burning wings
Are we dead inside
Are we blind
We can't keep moving forward
Backwards with closed eyes
We're losing sight
All lost inside

No more fallen
No more enemy

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
I have a dream
But nobody cares
Nobody wants to listen

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
Hang on to a dream that nobody wants
Nobody cares
Nobody wants
Nobody cares anymore

All gone
All gone
All gone
All gone

Joe Bonamassa "Ballad of John Henry"

This guy has kept popping up everywhere I read about guitar players, it made me check him out. I have to say that the reviews of his work are spot on. He's a great guitarist and musician, I encourage you to check out more of his stuff.

Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints
Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints

Take this hammer carry it to the Captain , Tell him why i'm gone
Take this hammer carry it to the Captain , Tell him i'm goin' home

I don't want your cold iron shackles around my leg
I don't want your cold iron shackles around my leg

Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints
Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints

I'm a long way from Colorado , A long way from my home
... Get the hammer that killed John Henry , Won't kill me no more
Gimme the hammer that killed John Henry , Cos it won't kill me
Gimme the hammer that killed John Henry , Cos it won't kill me

Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints
Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints

Take this hammer carry it to the Captain , Tell him i'm goin' home
Take this hammer carry it to the Captain , Tell him why i'm gone
I'm a wanted man with the Captain
I'm a wanted man in the shackles
I'm a wanted man in the shackles
I'm a wanted man .....

Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints
Who killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints
Ohhhh Ohhhhhhh

I killed John Henry , In the battle of sinners and saints
Ohhhh Ohhhhhhhhh

David Bowie "Let's Dance"

How about some classic Bowie? One of those those guys that's been churning out great music for years.

Let's dance put on your red shoes and dance the blues

Let's dance to the song
they're playin' on the radio

Let's sway
while color lights up your face
Let's sway
sway through the crowd to an empty space

If you say run, I'll run with you
If you say hide, we'll hide
Because my love for you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall
Into my arms
And tremble like a flower

Let's dance for fear
your grace should fall
Let's dance for fear tonight is all

Let's sway you could look into my eyes
Let's sway under the moonlight,
this serious moonlight

If you say run, I'll run with you
If you say hide, we'll hide
Because my love for you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall
Into my arms
And tremble like a flower

Let's dance put on your red shoes
and dance the blues

Let's dance to the song
they're playin' on the radio

Let's sway you could look into my eyes
Let's sway under the moonlight,
this serious moonlight

Godsmack "Serenity"

Something a bit softer from one of my favorite bands. You just have to love Sully's voice. Hell, I wouldn't even mind a dark sun tat somewhere for my next one.

As I sit here and slowly close my eyes
I take another deep breath
And feel the wind pass through my body
I’m the one in your soul
Reflecting the light
Protect the ones who hold you
Cradling your inner child

It’s serenity
In a place where I can hide
I need serenity
Nothing changes, days go by

Where do we go when we just don’t know
And how do we relight the flame when it’s cold
Why do we dream when I thought mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

Tragic visions slowly stole my life
Tore away everything
Cheating me out of my time
I’m the one who loves you
No matter wrong or right
And every day I hold you
I hold you with my inner child

It’s serenity
In a place where I can hide
I need serenity
Nothing changes, days go by

Where do we go when we just don’t know
And how do we relight the flame when it’s cold
Why do we dream when I thought mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

Where do we go when we just don’t know
And how do we relight the flame when it’s cold
Why do we dream when I thought mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

I need serenity [x2]

Hinder "Lips Of An Angel"

This was Hinder's break out hit. With over 16 million views on Youtube, it looks like its really popular. Maybe its the lyrics that many can relate to, I know I do.

Honey why you calling me so late?
It's kinda hard to talk right now.
Honey why are you crying? Is everything okay?
I gotta whisper 'cause I can't be too loud

Well, my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's funny that you're calling me tonight
And, yes, I've dreamt of you too
And does he know you're talking to me
Will it start a fight
No I don't think she has a clue

Well my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

Honey why you calling me so late?

Kid Rock "Bawitdaba"

This was before he went country. I prefer had core Kid Rock.

(fade in) said the boogy said up jump the boogie

**Chorus** 5X

bawitdba da bang da dang diggy diggy diggy said the boogie said up jump the boogie

1st verse:
MY NAME IS KKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
KKIIDD RROOCCKK...

**Chorus** 4X

2nd verse:
And this is for the questions that don't have any answers, the midnight
glancers and the topless dancers, the gander freeks, cars packed with
speakers, the G's with the 40's and the chicks with beepers. The Northern
lights, in the Southern cover and it don't even matter if the things are
punctured. All the crack–heads, the cridics, the sidics, and all my heros at
the methidone clinics. All you bastards at the IRS for the crooked cops, and
the cluttered desks. For the shots of Jack, and the caps of math, half
pints of love, and to feel so stressed. For the hookers all drinking out in
Hollywood and for my hoods of the world misunderstood I said "Its all in good
and its all in fun. NOW GET IN THE PIT AND TRY TO LOVE SOMEONE!!"

**Chorus** 4X

3rd verse:
For the time–bots ticking and the heads that hang. All the gangs getting
money, and the heads to bang-bang. Wild Mustangs, the porno flicks, and all
my homies in the county in cell block 6. The crips with the raining of the
eggs to cook, every DB Cooper and the money he took. You can look for answers
but that aint fun. NOW GET IN THE PIT AND TRY TO LOVE SOMEONE!!

(Gutar solo)

**Chorus**
2X (Come on)
**Chorus**
2X

Love... and for the hate... and for the pain... WWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

**Chorus**
2X (Come on)
**Chorus**
2X

Cream "White Room"

Going with some old school rock today.

In the white room with black curtains near the station.
Black-roof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings.
Silver horses run down moonbeams in your dark eyes.
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment.

And I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves.
You said no strings could secure you at the station.
Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows.
I walked into such a sad time at the station.
As I walked out, felt my own needs just beginning.
And I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back;
Lie with you where the shadows run from themselves.

Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah
Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah

At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd.
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten.
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes.
She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings.

I'll sleep in this place with the lonely crowd.
Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves.

Everlast "Ends"

Another great tune by Everlast.

Ends
Some people will rob their mother for the ends
Rats snitch on one another for the ends
Sometimes kids get murdered for the ends
So before we go any further I want my ends

I knew this cat named Darrel who didn't have a dollar
He was Harvard material, Ivy League scholar
Had a Ph.D., had an M.B.A.
But now he's waiting tables 'cause there's rent to pay
Companyies downsizing, inflation's rising
Can't find a job, he's feeling kinda stressed
Doesn't even feel the effects when he's 'sessed
Forgot to count how many times he been blessed
So he falls off track, starts smokin' the crack
And once it hits his brain it starts to chain react
Sells the shirt off his back, shoes off his feet
He's losing all his teeth now he's out in the street
And all of a sudden he's like Jesse James
Trying to stick up kids holding watches and chains
But he's from business school and he's nervous with a tool
So he ends up on his back in a bloody pool
For the

CHORUS

I knew this chick named Sally she had a nice strut
And everywhere that I went she was up in the cut
Swingin that butt like place ya ad here
Only rappin' mens that rock the fly gear
Brand name wearin', champagne wavin'
Jewels around her neck, a lotta style she's cravin'
Ain't no savin' she's doin' all spendin'
If you do the lendin' she'll do the bendin'
Straight machine vendin' it's money for take
Shopping sprees get her on her knees
And if you hit her with the keys to your crib you actin' funny
Come home one day, find her countin' out your money

Tantric "Astounded"

There's nothing else to say except, Great Fucking Song....

Here's the official video link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrQ_iIcDN1o&ob=av2n

Hey, hey Hey, hey

You don't care How I feel
You care about yourself
I understand the way you feel
Your pity is your wealth

Lost in time
She don't mind the Change in the ways

Now you're mine
We don't mind the Change in the ways

Hey hey hey I just found my way
All you stupid fuckers Walk around astounded and drowning

Hey hey hey I just found my way
Some things can be lost
But now I found a new way
Through it again

I'll never wish you harm in life
I pray you find your way
I have found I'll live my life
Discovering my fate

Lost in time
She don't mind the Change in the ways

Now you're mine
We don't mind the Change in the ways

Chorus x3

A new way
Through it
A new way
Through it Again

Rob Zombie "Feel So Numb"

This is what I was waking to on the ride in this morning. I love the bass pound to this song.

Mud bath, acrobat, a midnight drive
everybody’s slippin everybody survive
radio talk show try to project
everything you need when you gotta connect

blacken the sun!
what have i done?
i feel so bad i feel so numb yeah!
blacken the sun!
what have i done?
i feel so good i feel so numb yeah!

Sugar sweet braniac on your neck
get in to tomorrow man I gotta reflect
a blue world dream girl up the street
gotta wake her up cause I don’t want her to dream

blacken the sun!
what have i done?
i feel so bad i feel so numb yeah!
blacken the sun!
what have i done?
i feel so good i feel so numb yeah!

Jingle jangle comin gonna crush your back
well everybody want it gotta take it back
rain trash porn slash what is why
look into forever revolutionize

blacken the sun!
what have i done?
i feel so bad i feel so numb yeah!
blacken the sun!
what have i done?
i feel so good i feel so numb yeah!

Kitaro "Nageki"

I'm throwing you a curve for a hump day. This is one of those composers that I need to buy more of his stuff. I have this album titled "Kojiki" and its excellent. It is incredably soothing and yet many of the tracks have a powerful bass line that ofsets the softness so well. And of course its not on Playlist to add the track to the right.

Metallica "Fade To Black"

There's nothing like some Fade to Black at full volume to wake you up in the morning. One of my all time favorite songs. It just all comes together, from Kirk's great into and ripping guitar solo's, James's powerful vocals and lyrics, and Lars just banging away, an all around great tune.

Life it seems will fade away
Drifting further everyday
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters no one else
I have lost the will to live Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free

Things not what they used to be Missing one inside of me
Deadly loss this cant be real
Cannot stand this hell i feel
Emptiness is filling me To the point of agony
Growing darkness taking dawn
I was me but now, hes gone

No one but me can save myself, but its too late
Now i cant think, think why i should even try

Yesterday seems as though it never existed
Death greets me warm, now i will just say goodbye
Goodbye
