I didn't care for this song when it first came out, now, I don't know, I think Jamie Foxx and his off key singing have grown on me.
[Jamie Foxx]
She take my money, when I'm in need
Yea she's a trifflin friend indeed
Oh she's a gold digga way over town
That dig's on me
[Chorus:]
(She steal me money)
Now I aint sayin she a gold digger (When I'm Need)
But she aint messin wit no broke niggaz
(She steal me money)
Now I aint sayin she a gold digger (When I'm need)
but she aint messin wit no broke niggaz
get down girl gon' head get down (on your knees)
get down girl gon' head get down (on your knees)
get down girl gon' head get down (on your knees)
get down girl gon' head
[Verse 1:]
Cutie the bomb
Met her at a beauty salon
With a baby louis vuitton
Under her underarm
She said I can tell you ROC
I can tell by ya charm
Far as girls you got a flock
I can tell by ya charm and ya arm
but I'm lookin for the one
have you seen her
My psychic told me she have a ass like Serena
Trina, Jennifer Lopez, four kids
An i gotta take all they bad ass to show-biz
Ok get ya kids but then they got their friends
I Pulled up in the Benz, they all got up In
We all went to Den and then I had to pay
If you fuckin with this girl then you betta be payed
You know why
It take too much to touch her
From what I heard she got a baby by Busta
My best friend say she use to fuck wit Usher
I dont care what none of yall say I still love her
[Verse 2:]
18 years, 18 years
She got one of yo kids got you for 18 years
I know somebody payin child support for one of his kids
His baby momma's car and crib is bigger than his
You will see him on TV Any Given Sunday
Win the Superbowl and drive off in a Hyundai
She was spose to buy ya shorty TYCO with ya money
She went to the doctor got lypo with ya money
She walkin around lookin like Michael with ya money
Should of got that insured got GEICO for ya moneeey
If you aint no punk holla We Want Prenup
WE WANT PRENUP!, Yeaah
It's something that you need to have
Cause when she leave yo ass she gone leave with half
18 years, 18 years
And on her 18th birthday he found out it wasn't his
[Verse 3:]
Now I aint sayin you a gold digger you got needs
You dont want ya dude to smoke but he can't buy weed
You got out to eat and he cant pay yall cant leave
There's dishes in the back, he gotta roll up his sleeves
But why yall washin watch him
He gone make it into a Benz out of that Datson
He got that ambition baby look in his eyes
This week he moppin floorz next week it's the fries
So, stick by his side
I know his dude's ballin but yea thats nice
And they gone keep callin and tryin
But you stay right girl
But when you get on he leave yo ass for a white girl
Get down girl gon' head get down
Get down girl gon' head get down
get down girl gon' head get down
get down girl gon' head

A-Ha "Take On Me"
A huge hit back in the 80's. I think the video was really ahead of its time.
We're talking away
I don't know what
I'm to say I'll say it anyway
Today's another day to find you
Shying away
I'll be coming for your love, OK?
[Chorus]
Take on me, take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two
So needless to say
I'm odds and ends
I'll be stumbling away
Slowly learning that life is OK
Say after me
It's no better to be safe than sorry
[Chorus]
Oh the things that you say
Is it live or
Just to play my worries away
You're all the things I've got to remember
You're shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway

Alanis Morissette "Uninvited"
For a woman known for her "angst" ridden music, this one is so off the charts powerfully beautiful.
Like anyone would be
I am flattered by your fascination with me
Like any hot blooded woman
I have simply wanted an object to crave
But you you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight
Must be strangely exciting
To watch the stoic squirm
Must be somewhat heartening
To watch shepherd meet shepherd
But you you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight
Like any uncharted territory
I must seem greatly intriguing
You speak of my love like
You have experienced love like mine before
But this is not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight
I don't think you unworthy
I need a moment to deliberate.

White Town "Your Woman"
Another one of those odd ball, one off hits.
Just tell me what you've got to say to me
I've been waiting for so long to hear the truth
It comes as no surprise at all you see
So cut the crap and tell me that we're through
Now I know your heart, I know your mind
You don't even know you're bein' unkind
So much for all your highbrow Marxist ways
Just use me up and then you walk away
Boy, you can't play me that way
Well I guess what you say is true
I could never be the right kind of girl for you
[Chorus:]
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
When I saw my best friend yesterday
She said she never liked you from the start
Well me, I wish that I could claim the same
But you always knew you held my heart
And you're such a charming, handsome man
Now I think I finally understand
Is it in your genes
I don't know
But I'll soon find out, that's for sure
Why did you play me this way
Well I guess what you say is true
I could never be the right kind of girl for you
[Chorus]
Well I guess what they say is true
I could never spend my life with a man like you

Counting Crows "Mr. Jones"
I was down at the New Amsterdam staring at this yellow-haired girl
Mr. Jones strikes up a conversation with this black-haired flamenco dancer
She dances while his father plays guitar
She's suddenly beautiful
We all want something beautiful
I wish I was beautiful
So come dance this silence down through the morning
Cut Maria! Show me some of them Spanish dances
Pass me a bottle, Mr. Jones
Believe in me
Help me believe in anything
I want to be someone who believes
Mr. Jones and me tell each other fairy tales
Stare at the beautiful women
"She's looking at you. Ah, no, no, she's looking at me."
Smiling in the bright lights
Coming through in stereo
When everybody loves you, you can never be lonely
I will paint my picture
Paint myself in blue and red and black and gray
All of the beautiful colors are very very meaningful
Grey is my favorite color
I felt so symbolic yesterday
If I knew Picasso
I would buy myself a gray guitar and play
Mr. Jones and me look into the future
Stare at the beautiful women
"She's looking at you.
Uh, I don't think so. She's looking at me."
Standing in the spotlight
I bought myself a gray guitar
When everybody loves me, I will never be lonely
I want to be a lion
Everybody wants to pass as cats
We all want to be big big stars, but we got different reasons for that Believe
in me because I don't believe in anything
and I want to be someone to believe
Mr. Jones and me stumbling through the barrio
Yeah we star at the beautiful women
"She's perfect for you, Man, there's got to be somebody for me."
I want to be Bob Dylan
Mr. Jones wishes he was someone just a little more funky
When everybody loves you, son, that's just about as funky as you can be
Mr. Jones and me staring at the video
When I look at the television, I want to see me staring right back at me
We all want to be big stars, but we don't know why and we don't know how
But when everybody loves me, I'm going to be just about as happy as can be
Mr. Jones and me, we're gonna be big stars

Faith No More "We Care A Lot"
I've been a bit on the soft side this week, lets change that with the last think I played on my iPod, some old school Faith No More.
We care a lot
We care a lot
We care a lot about disasters, fires, floods and killer bees
We care a lot about nasa shuttle falling in the sea
We care a lot about starvation and the food that live aid bought
We care a lot about disease, baby, rock hudson, rock yeah!
We care a lot
We care a lot
We care a lot about the gamblers and the pushers and the freaks
We care a lot about the people who live off the street
We care a lot about the welfare of all the boys and girls
We care a lot about you people cause were out to save the world
Yeah!
(chorus) and its a dirty job but someones got to do it!
We care a lot about the army, navy, air force, and marines
We care a lot about the ny, sf, and lapd
We care a lot about you people, about your guns
We care a lot about the wars youre fighting, gee, that looks like fun
We care a lot about the cabbage patch, the smurfs, and dmc
We care a lot about madonna and we cop for mr.t
We care a lot about the little things, the bigger things we top
We care a lot about you people, yeah, you bet we care a lot
(chorus) and its a dirty job but someones gotta do it....

Kiss "Heaven's On Fire"
I remember seeing these guys all done up in full dress mode and thinking they must play some heavy shit. Then I heard their music, yea, I was a bit disappointed. I do enjoy some of their stuff though.
I look at you and my blood boils hot, I feel my temperature rise
I want it all, give me what you got, there's hunger in your eyes
I'm getting closer, baby hear me breathe
You know the way to give me what I need
Just let me love you and you'll never leave
[Chorus:]
Feel my heat takin' you higher, burn with me, Heaven's on fire
Paint the sky with desire, angel fly, Heaven's on fire
I got a fever ragin' in my heart, you make me shiver and shake
Baby don't stop, take it to the top, eat it like a piece of cake
You're comin' closer, I can hear you breathe
You drive me crazy when you start to tease
You could bring the devil to his knees
[Chorus]
Oho Heaven's on fire, oho Heaven's on fire, oho
I'm getting closer, baby hear me breathe
You know the way to give me what I need
Just let me love you and you'll never leave
[Chorus]

Seether "Breakdown"
I may have mentioned this before, but I love Seether's music.
The sun is gone and the flowers rot
Words are spaces between us
And i should've been drown in the rivers i've found of token lost
And i should've been down when you made me insecure
So break me down if it makes you feel right
And hate me now if it keeps you alright
You can break me down if it takes all your might
'cause i'm so much more than meets the eye
And i'm the one you can never trust
'cause wounds are ways to reveal us
And yeah i could have tried and devoted my life to both of us
But what a waste of my time when the world we have is yours
So break me down if it makes you feel right
And hate me now if it keeps you alright
You can break me down if it takes all your might
'cause i'm so much more than all your lies
Hate me, break me down
So break me down
So break me down
So break me down if it makes you feel right
And hate me now if it keeps you alright
You can break me down if it takes all your might
'cause i'm so much more than meets the eye

Cheap Trick "The Flame"
Such a great song. It just seems so fitting right now.
Another night slowly closes in and I feel so lonely
Touching heat freezing on my skin
I pretend you still hold me
I'm going crazy I'm losing sleep
I'm in too far
I'm in way too deep over you
I can't believe you're gone
You were the first
You'll be the last
[Chorus]
Wherever you go I'll be with you
Whatever you want I'll give it to you
Whenever you need someone
To lay your heart and head upon
Remember after the fire After all the rain
I will be the flame
I will be the flame
Watching shadows move across the wall
Feels so frightening
I want to run to you I want to call
But I've been hit by lightning
Just can't stand up for falling apart
Can't see through this veil across my heart over you
You'll always be the one
You were the first
You'll be the last
[Chorus]
I'm going crazy
I'm losing sleep
I'm in way too deep over you
You'll always be the one
You were the first
You'll be the last

Meat Loaf "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)"
I love the woman's voice who does the secondary chorus on this song, she has such an amazing voice. And I'd have to add that Mr. Loaf must have the Midas touch, he always seems to have excellent selling albums.
I did find this on wiki "The final verse features a female vocalist who was credited only as "Mrs. Loud" in the album notes. She was later identified as Lorraine Crosby, from North East England. She does not, however, appear in the video, in which her vocals are lipsynched by Dana Patrick."
And I would do anything for love,
I'd run right into hell and back,
I would do anything for love,
I'll never lie to you and thats a fact.
But I'll never forget the way you feel right now
Oh no...no way...I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that, anything for love,
I would do anything for love, I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that.
Some days it dont come easy,
Some days it dont come hard
Some days it dont come at all,
And these are the days that never end.
Some nights you breath fire,
Some nights your carved in ice,
Some nights your like nothing I've ever seen before, Or will again.
Maybe I'm crazy, But it's crazy and it's true,
I know you can save me, No one else can save me now but you.
As long as the planets are turning,
As long as the stars are burning,
As long as your dreams are coming true...You better believe it! -
That I would do anything for love,
And I'll be there until the final act
I would do anything for love!
And I'll take a Vow and Seal a pact
But I'll never forgive myself if we dont go all the way...Tonight -
I would do anything for love!
I would do anything for love,
I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that...
I would do anything for love,
Anything you've been dreaming of,
But I just wont do that...
Some days I pray for Silence,
Some days I pray for Soul,
Some days I just pray to the God of Sex and Drums and Rock 'N' Roll.
Some nights I lose the feeling,
Some nights I lose control,
Some nights I just lose it all when I watch you dance and the thunder rolls.
Maybe I'm lonely, And thats all I'm qualified to be,
There's just one and only, The one and only promise I can keep.
As long as the wheels are turning,
As long as the fires are burning,
As long as your prayers are coming true...You better believe it - !
That I would do anything for love!
And you know it's true and thats a fact,
I would do anything for love!
And there'll never be no turning back
But I'll never do it better than I do it with you,
So long - So long - I would do anything for love,
I would do anything for love,
I would do anything for love,
I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that!
I would do anything for love,
Anything you've been dreaming of,
But I just wont do that...
But I'll never stop dreaming of you
Everynight of my life...No Way...
I would do anything for love,
I would do anything for love,
I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that!
Girl- Will you raise me up?
Will you help me down?
Will you help get me right out of this Godforsaken town?
Will you make it a little less cold?
Meat Loaf- I can do that!
I can do that!
Girl- Will you hold me sacred?
will you hold me tight?
Can you colorize my life I'm so sick of black and white?
Can you make it a little less old?
Meat Loaf- I can do that!
I can do that!
Girl- Will you make me some magic, with your own two hands?
Can you build an Emerald city with these grains of sand?
Can you give me something that I can take home?
Meat Loaf- I can do that!
I can do that!
Girl- Will you cater to every fantasy that I've got?
Will ya hose me down with holy water...if I get too hot?
Will you take me to places that I've never known?
Meat Loaf- I can do that!
I can do that!
Girl- After a while you'll forget everything,
It was a brief interlude, And a midsummer night's fling,
And you'll see that it's time to move on.
Meat Loaf- I wont do that!
I wont do that!
Girl- I know the territory...I've been around,
It'll all turn to dust and we'll all fall down,
And sooner or later you'll be screwing around.
Meat Loaf- I wont do that!
I wont do that!
Anything for love, I would do anything for love,
I would do anything for love,
But I wont do that, I wont do that

The Smiths "How Soon Is Now?"
I've always loved the eerie sound to this song.
I am the son
And the heir
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar
I am the son and heir
Of nothing in particular
You shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way?
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does
I am the son
And the heir
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar
I am the son and heir
Of nothing in particular
You shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way?
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does
There's a club if you'd like to go
You could meet somebody who really loves you
So you go and you stand on your own
And you leave on your own
And you go home and you cry
And you want to die
When you say it's gonna happen "now"
Well when exactly do you mean?
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone
You shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way?
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does

INXS "Need You Tonight"
Come over here
All you got is this moment
The twenty-first century's yesterday
You can care all you want
Everybody does yeah that's okay
So slide over here
And give me a moment
Your moves are so raw
I've got to let you know
I've got to let you know
You're one of my kind
I need you tonight
'Cause I'm not sleeping
There's something about you girl
That makes me sweat
How do you feel
I'm lonely
What do you think
Can't take it all
Whatcha gonna do
Gonna live my life

Men At Work "Land Down Under"
A great 80's classic. Another band that released quite few good songs in the day. Yes, I own a greatest hits album by them.
Traveling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,
"Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscles
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich
And he said,
"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
Lying in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw, and not much to say
I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me
Because I come from the land of plenty?"
And he said,
"Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."

Volbeat "A Warrior's Call"
This is a great new song. I could not remember the name of the group for the life of me, but a friend was nice enough to send it to me yesterday. I love the way he sings this.
Feel the fire he's entered the ring.
His mindset only knows how to win.
This Danish fighter will break you in two.
You will feel all his power.
The Viking warrior Mikkel Kessler will now brand his name.
In the back of your head.
Yeah, you'll feel the floor again.
Unleashing his hell. you will not even hear the bell.
Maybe you're strong but you don't stand a chance.
Feel the power of the warrior.
Fight, fight, fight, fight.
Let's get ready to rumble.
Fight, fight, fight, fight.
Breaking your record and breaking your bones.
Born a warrior, with a code.
A champion feeding your face with a fist.
You will feel all his power.
The Viking warrior Mikkel Kessler will now brand his name.
In the back of your head.
Yeah, you'll feel the floor again.
Unleashing his hell, you will not even hear the bell.
Maybe you're strong but you don't stand a chance.
Feel the power of a warrior.
Fight, fight, fight, fight.
Let's get ready to rumble.
Fight, fight, fight, fight
A gladiator's left hand hook.
Fight, fight, fight, fight
Feel the pain tomorrow.
Behold here comes the son.
Believe it, he was born to be the chosen one.
The call is for a warrior.
His name will echo on the sea and on the ground.
Feel the fire he's entered the ring.
His mindset only knows how to win.
This Danish fighter will break you in two.
You will feel all his power.
The Viking warrior Mikkel Kessler will now brand his name.
In the back of your head.
Yeah, you'll feel the floor again.
Unleashing his hell, you will not even hear the bell.
Maybe you're strong but you don't stand a chance.

Survivor "Burning Heart"
How about another song made famous by a movie. This is one that just seems to fit so well.
Two worlds collide
Rival nations
It's a primitive clash
Venting years of frustrations
Bravely we hope
Against all hope
There is so much at stake
Seems our freedom's up
Against the ropes
Does the crowd understand?
Is it East versus West
Or man against man
Can any nation stand alone
In the burning Heart
Just about to burst
There's a quest for answers
An unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night
Rising like a spire
In the burning heart
The unmistakable fire
In the burning heart
In the warrious code
There's no surrender
Though his body says stop
His spirit cries - never!
Deep in our soul
A quiet ember
Know it's you against you
It's the paradox
That drives us on
It's a battle of wills
In the heat of attack
It's the passion that kills
The victory is yours alone
In the burning Heart
Just about to burst
There's a quest for answers
An unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night
Rising like a spire
In the burning heart
The unmistakable fire
In the burning Heart
Just about to burst
There's a quest for answers
An unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night
Rising like a spire
In the burning heart
The unmistakable fire
In the burning Heart
Just about to burst
There's a quest for answers
An unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night
Rising like a spire
In the burning heart
The unmistakable fire

Jimmy Eat World "Bleed American"
This is one of those songs I heard in a movie and just came to like. Something about the power of the chorus.
I'm not alone cause the TV's on yeah.
I'm not crazy cause I take the right pills everyday.
And rest, clean your conscious, clear your thoughts with speyside with your grain.
Clean your conscious, clear your thoughts with speyside.
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Tune in and we can get the last call.
Our lives, our coal.
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade.
Our lives.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade, our lives.
(I bled the) greed from my arm.
Won't they give it a rest now?
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Tune in and we can get the last call.
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt, our hearts littering the topsoil.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade.

One last call for alcohol so finish your whiskey or beer.
Closing time
You don't have to go home but you can't stay here.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home
Closing time
Time for you to go back to the places you will be from.
Closing time
This room won't be open 'til your brothers or you sisters come.
So gather up your jackets, and move it to the exits
I hope you have found a
Friend.
Closing time
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Yeah, I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home
Closing time
Time for you to go back to the places you will be from
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home
Closing time
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end

Cold featuring Aaron Lewis "Bleed"
This is one I stumbled upon the other day, I like it, the lyrics are so fitting.
I'm feeling crossed
I take it inside
Burn up the pain
My thoughts are strange
Just like the things
I used to love
Just like the tree that fell
I heard it
If art is still inside
I feel it
[Chorus]
I want to bleed
Show the world all that I have inside
I want to scream
Let the blood flow that keeps me alive
Take all these strings
They call my veins
Wrap them around
Every ****ing thing
Presence of people
Not for me
Well I must remain in tune
Forever
My love is music
I will marry melody
[Chorus]
Won't you let me take you
For a ride
You can stop the world
Try to change my mind
Won't you let me show you
How it feels
You can stop the world
But you won't change me
I need music
I need music
I need music to set me free
To let me bleed

Trapt "Headstong"
Back off, I'll take you on. ;)
Circling your (2x)
Circling your head, contemplating everything you ever said
Now I see the truth, I got a doubt
A different motive in your eyes and now I'm out, see you later
Bridge:
I see your fantasy, you wanna make it a reality paved in gold
See inside, inside of our heads, yeah, well now that's over
I see your motives inside, decisions to hide
CHORUS:
Back off I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
Headstrong, we're headstrong
Back off I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
If this is not where you belong
I can't give everything away, I won't give everything away
Conclusions manifest, your first impressions got to be your very best
I see your full of shit and that's alright
That's how you play, I guess you get through every night
Well now that's over
Bridge
CHORUS
I can't give everything away(this is not where you belong)
I won't give everything away
I know, I know all about (3x)
I know, I know all about your motives inside, and your decision to hide
CHORUS
I can't give everything away
I won't give everything away(this is not where you belong)

Buffalo Springfield "For What It's Worth"
This is one of those simple but so cool songs.
There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
What's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
